One of the landmark developments is the announcement by LG Electronics’ Hong Ju Jian, committing ₹5,000 crore towards establishing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sri City. This investment is set to become the largest greenfield electronics manufacturing project in South India, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s position as a key player in the electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
Minister Nara Lokesh urged major corporate players to focus their attention on Andhra Pradesh for large-scale manufacturing hubs, citing the state’s investor-friendly policies, strategic location, and robust infrastructure as catalysts for sustainable industrial growth.
“With the speed at which we facilitate business operations, Andhra Pradesh is poised to attract more marquee investments. We welcome and appreciate the confidence shown by companies like LG Electronics, and we are committed to supporting their growth here,” he said.
