Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has launched a formal inquiry into former IPS officer Raghuveer Reddy. Starting his career as a Sub-Inspector and rising through the ranks to become a Superintendent of Police (SP), Reddy has served in key postings across Eluru, Bhimavaram, Rajahmundry, Kakinada, and Narsapur.
Raghuveer Reddy came into the spotlight during the arrest of TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, when he was serving as the SP of Nandyal. His role during that high-profile operation is now under the scanner.
The Home Department has appointed two officials — PHD Ramakrishna and Shimoshi — as inquiry officers to probe the matter.
