Khammam — Several political parties and religious groups recently organized a rally in Khammam city expressing support for Palestine. However, the participation of local school students, along with NCC and NSS volunteers, in the event has drawn criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district unit.

Objecting to the involvement of students in what they described as a politically and religiously motivated rally, BJP leaders announced that they would submit a formal representation to the Khammam District Education Department today. The memorandum seeks clarification on how students were permitted to take part in the event during school hours.
BJP district president Nelluri Koteswara Rao, BJP Education Cell district convener Achanti Koteswara Rao, and Khammam Two Town president Dhaniyakula Venkat Narayana urged party cadres to ensure the program’s success. They emphasized the need to protect educational spaces from political and ideological influence.
