INDI Alliance Leaders March to EC Office in Protest Against Alleged Voter List Manipulation in Bihar

New Delhi: Senior leaders of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive (INDI) Alliance, led by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, held a protest march from Parliament to the Election Commission’s headquarters on Monday.

The opposition leaders alleged large-scale irregularities in the voter list revisions in Bihar, claiming that the discrepancies were part of a larger conspiracy to “steal votes” during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Holding placards and raising slogans, the INDI bloc leaders demanded that the Election Commission take immediate corrective measures to ensure free and fair elections. They accused the ruling dispensation of manipulating electoral rolls to suppress opposition votes and undermine the democratic process.

“The integrity of our electoral system is at stake. If voter lists can be tampered with, then democracy itself is in danger,” Rahul Gandhi said during the protest.

The Election Commission is yet to respond to the allegations.
